We had the opportunity to interview Melodee Colbert-Kean who is the Mayor Pro-Tem for Joplin. She points out that monetary donations that people keep hearing are coming to the city from large groups like Wal-Mart & Home Depot are not necessarily coming to the City of Joplin. She says that those donations are going to organizations within the city to be disbursed to citizens. She also talks about what is necessary right now in getting Joplin to the rebuilding phase.
