    Hi. I came to Joplin and volunteered at your church a little over a week ago with 10 people from Covenant Family Church in Minnesota. While there we went to MSSU to play games with the kids staying there, and sang worship songs with them. During that time we met a girl named Christine who we were able to pray with and she gave her heart to Christ! She has 2 young sons and is pregnant. I just got a facebook message from her saying they are closing the shelter at MSSU tomorrow and they have no where to go. Is there anywhere she can go to get a place to stay? I think she may also have a boyfriend staying with her but I am not exactly sure what that situation is. I appreciate any information you can give and I continue to pray for you guys.

      That is amazing what you were blessed to do Jennifer. As far as shelter goes I have heard that Mt. Hope Church of Christ is still housing people. Beyond that I am not sure. You might have them call 417-553-5821 and ask some more of our team if they have some other suggestions. We will look to see what we can do though.
